To build a new app, click Add New App from the sidebar. This opens the Create New App form, which starts with the app's Basic Details — its core identity. Everything here can be edited later, but it's worth getting right since it shapes how clients see your app.
App Name (English) — required. The name shown to English-language accounts.
اسم التطبيق (اللغة العربية) — the Arabic name, shown to Arabic-language accounts.
Daftra displays the right version automatically based on each client's account language, so treat both as complete, polished names rather than rough translations.
Description (English) — required. Explains what your app does, shown to English-language accounts.
الوصف (اللغة العربية) — the Arabic description, shown to Arabic-language accounts.
This is your app's main pitch. Describe clearly what it does and the value it provides. As with the name, write each language as a full description on its own.
When you've filled in the details, use Save (top right) to create the app, or Cancel to discard. After saving, the app is created and you can move on to configuring it.
💡 You can return to all of these fields at any time through Edit App → Basic Details.
