Once your app is built and configured, the last step is getting it into users' hands. The portal offers two paths: Invitations for sharing privately with specific accounts, and Publishing for releasing publicly to the marketplace. After publishing, users can leave Reviews.
Invitations let you activate your app for specific accounts without publishing it — ideal for a particular client, internal use, or testing before a public launch. You reach this from the app's Invitations screen. To invite an account:
1.
Enter the account's email in the E-mail field.
2.
Click Invite.
The invited account can then activate your app directly, without it appearing in the public marketplace. Each invitation you send is tracked in the list below the field, so you can see who's been invited and the status of each. (Before you've sent any, the screen simply shows that there are no invitations yet.)Use Back To App to return to the App Hub.
To make your app available to all Daftra users, publish it to the marketplace. Because a published app is visible to everyone, it goes through a review first. The flow:
1.
From the App Hub, click Request Publish.
2.
Your app enters a review process.
3.
Once approved, the app is published and appears in the marketplace for eligible users to discover and install.
Until it's published, your app stays in Sandbox status (shown on the App Hub).
After your app is published, users can rate and review it. These reviews appear under the Reviews tab on the App Hub.Reviews build your app's reputation in the marketplace and give you feedback to improve it over time. The app's overall App Rating (shown in the Info tab's Insights) reflects this feedback.
